Mitchell Sanders, Ph.D.
CEO and Founder, ECI Biotech
Dr. Sanders is a leader in the field of protein engineering, purification and assay development. Before founding ECI Biotech in 1998, he worked as a Senior Scientist II at Genome Therapeutics, where he worked in the Pathogens Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and completed postdoctoral training at the Whitehead Institute at MIT. For ECI, Dr. Sanders secured an aggregate $20M in equity, corporate development funding, and SBIR grants.
Geert Cauwenbergh, Ph.D
Executive Chairman, ECI Biotech
CEO and Founder, Phase123
Phase123 is a company focused on bringing together investigators and sponsors for drug development and clinical studies. Prior to founding Phase123, Dr. Cauwenbergh was the founder and CEO of Barrier Therapeutics, and he held various executive positions with Johnson and Johnson. Dr. Cauwenbergh has authored over 100 publications and co-authored several books. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven, where he also completed his Masters and undergraduate work.
Walter A. Winshall
Managing Partner
Collaborative Seed and Growth Partners, LLC
Walt is a managing partner of Collaborative Seed and Growth Partners, LLC, an investment firm specializing in the commercialization of technology. He was a co-founder and served as chairman of SilverPlatter International, NV, a company that provides information services for research institutions, until the company's acquisition by Wolters Kluwer. He graduated from MIT in electrical engineering and from Harvard Law School.
Dana Edelman

Collaborative Seed and Growth Partners, LLC
Dana co-founded Collaborative Seed and Growth Partners, an investment firm specializing in the commercialization of early stage technologies since early 1999. She spent the previous decade running a business organization facilitating market entry with foreign technology companies during their initial steps in the U.S. market. She worked abroad earlier still in the field of international economic development for various governmental and non-governmental organizations doing program development and implementation. She has a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.P.A. from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School.
Michael J. Landine
Vice President, Corporate Development,
Alkermes
Michael Landine has served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Alkermes since March 1999. From March 1988 until June 1998, he was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Alkermes. Mike is also currently an advisor to Walker Magnetics Group, an international manufacturer of industrial equipment, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Kopin Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of compound semiconductor components and miniature flat panel displays for use in wireless and consumer electronic products. Mike received a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Benoît Jamar

Mr. Jamar is presently a partner of Vik Brothers International / Thomas Crown investment firm. He has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, with senior executive positions held at Sheffield Merchant Banking Group (an M&A boutique investment banking firm), Crédit Suisse First Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Lehman Brothers, and Citicorp. Mr. Jamar received his MBA from Columbia University and an MS and BS in engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain.
