Protection
ECI has characterized a class of proteins that stabilize and protect host proteins from degradation. Many of these proteins are able to block the deleterious effects of toxins produced by harmful pathogens. Acting as universal protein folders and broad spectrum proteases inhibitors, ExpressProtect™ proteins minimize degradation related to conformational changes and enzymatic digestion. ECI has compelling in vitro biochemical data, cellular evidence and some preliminary animal studies, indicating that these proteins can block certain mechanisms involved in cell death, thereby speeding up the healing process.Benefits
